Jajpur Cement is planning to set up a new cement plant in Kacherigaon (Dasmania & Chandia) in Kalinganagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur district of Odisha. The project involves setting up of 1.5 million tpa of cement grinding unit using vertical roll mill technology. It will produce 90% Portland Slag Cement (PSC) and 10% Portland Pozzolona Cement (PPC).
Land required for the project is around 26.5 acres which is already available. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 4,000 million. As of January 2019, the project is in planning stage.
