Haldia Petrochemicals plans integrated refinery in Balasore

Haldia Petrochemicals is planning to set up an integrated refinery in Balasore in Odisha. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 287,000 million.
The project is likely to come up near Subarnekha port, where the government is likely to allot 2000 acres of land needed for the project.
However, the company is currently negotiating concessions from the state government to implement the project.

The phase I of the project is likely to be completed in 5 years from zero date.
