Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) is planning to set up a LPG bottling plant in Pitamahal village in Seskal Tehsil in Rayagada district of Odisha. The company has roped in ABC Techno Labs India Pvt Ltd to prepare a techno feasibility report for the project. Land required for the project is around 21 acres which is already available. The plant capacity will be is 900 mt ( 3 x 300 mt). The project cost is estimated at ₹ 916.4 million.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is likely to be transported through bullet trucks from its Visakhapatnam refinery.
