Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) is implementing a project to develop Siramal opencast mine in Odisha. The company has awarded the mine development and operation contract to Dilip Buildcon Ltd for a value of 36,419.07 crore (including GST) and the contract period is for 25 years.
The mine reserve is 1091 Million Metric Tons.
